Bills vs Colts Suffice it to say, weather won’t be an issue Sunday when the Bills head to Indianapolis to play the Colts indoors at climate-controlled Lucas Oil Stadium.
Bills vs Colts live
The conditions were anything but ideal 10 months ago when these teams hooked up at New Era Field to play one of the most memorable games of the NFL season. The Bills won 13-7 in a day-long blizzard the likes of which the league hasn’t seen in quite a while, making this an instant NFL Films classic.
Nathan Peterman made the second start of his career, and he threw a shocking touchdown pass to Kelvin Benjamin in the first half, but then got knocked out of the game in the third quarter by a concussion. With Tyrod Taylor already inactive due to an injury, the Bills had to turn to No. 3 quarterback Joe Webb. And after the Colts forced overtime, Webb somehow completed a 34-yard pass to Deonte Thompson late in the extra period to set up LeSean McCoy’s game-winning 21-yard touchdown run.
It turned out to be one of the biggest plays of the season because had the Bills tied that game, they would not have made the playoffs and the drought would have reached 18 years.

Series historyThis is the 70th regular-season meeting and the Bills hold a 37-31-1 edge. These two teams played twice a year from 1970 to 2001 in the old AFC East, but when the league realigned to eight divisions, the Colts moved to the AFC South. The Bills have only faced Andrew Luck twice because he missed last year’s blizzard game. They beat him on opening day 2015, Tyrod Taylor’s first start for the Bills, and they lost to the Colts in 2012 in their last visit to Indy, which was in Luck’s rookie season
